Abstract
The concept of sustainable development has
gained significant attention in recent years, as it emphasizes the need to
balance economic growth with social and environmental considerations. In this study,
we aim to study the progress of sustainable development in Viksit Bharat a
developing country experiencing rapid economic growth. The study provides an
overview of the key strategies adopted by Viksit Bharat to achieve sustainable
development and the challenges encountered in implementing these strategies. It
also discusses the future prospects for sustainable development in Viksit
Bharat. To conduct this study, we extensively reviewed existing literature on
sustainable development and examined statistical data from credible sources
such as government reports, international organizations, and academic journals.
We also conducted interviews with policymakers, experts, and community members
to gather first-hand insights on the ground reality. Our findings reveal that
Viksit Bharat has made significant progress in achieving sustainability goals
in areas such as poverty reduction, education, healthcare, gender equality, and
renewable energy. The government has undertaken several initiatives to promote
sustainable practices such as promoting green energy projects, implementing
waste management schemes, and enforcing regulations for environmental
protection.
