Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted
higher education, forcing institutions to rapidly transition to online learning
environments. This conceptual study explores the effects of this transition on
teaching professionals, focusing on their engagement, retention, and
compensation analytics during the post-COVID-19 situation. The research aims to
identify key challenges faced by educators and institutions, and provide
insights into strategies for mitigating the negative impacts and promoting a
sustainable academic workforce.
